Tots Library Club (TLC)
Tots Library club is an unstructured, early literacy experience for Birth to 24 months and their caregiver.
Thursday, January 10 through Thursday, May 30
Thursdays from 10:00-10:45 AM is playtime, and then stay for a short 15-minute session of nursery rhymes, fingerplays, and songs from 10:45-11:00 AM! 

Terrific 2s and 3s
Story time for Ages 2 & 3 and their caregiver.  This fall season will feature special sessions focusing on music and movement, as well as traditional story and craft time.

Preschool Story Time
Join us for stories, songs, crafts, and fun!  Ages 3-4

Thursday, January 24 from 5:30-6:00 PM

Oakland children, ages 5 & up, will have an opportunity to read to a very lovable dog, Halle, and her “Mom”, Marcia. Welcome Halle, our newest therapy dog, and her "mom", Marcia. Halle is registered with Therapy Dogs International. Each child will have about ten minutes to read a favorite story to her. The program will be held in the Library’s story gallery. Join us in the Children’s Dept. for a surprise “Drop-In” craft on Thursday, January 31st from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. Children of all ages are invited to attend. No registration is required.

The Oakland Garden Club will visit the Library on Thursday, February 7 from 3:45 to 4:30 pm. Oakland children, ages five and up, will be creating a valentine surprise! "Drop-In" Craft

Location: Pat Turnier Craft Room

Join us in the Children’s Dept. to celebrate Valentine's Day with a special "Drop-In" craft on Thursday, February 14 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. Oakland children of all ages are invited to attend. Participants may come anytime between 4:00 and 5:30 PM.  Registration is not required.

Oakland Children Ages 2 & Up 

Miss Valerie and her wonderful “Jiggly Wiggly” music program will be held in the Oakland Public Library on Friday, February 15 from 10:30 to 11:15 am.  Oakland children, ages 2 & up, and their caregivers, will be enjoying music and movement activities. Various themes will be showcased during the year. The program will be held downstairs in the Library’s meeting room. Registration is not required.
